Terms of participation

Last updated: September 27, 2026

1. About

The LoopHole Project runs collaborative AI video challenges. Creators submit short videos, the team reviews them, and the approved videos are assembled into a Community Film and other publications. The project is operated by its publisher, described in the legal notice. By submitting a video, you accept these terms and the challenge rules.

2. Who can take part

  • Participation is free and open to people aged 18 or older.
  • Each person may have one active entry per challenge, linked to one email address. Using several addresses or email aliases to submit more entries is not allowed.
  • If your entry is rejected, you may submit a new one while submissions are open.

3. Dates

For the current challenge, submissions open on September 30, 2026 at 10:00 PM (UTC+0) and close on October 21, 2026 at 9:59 PM (UTC+0). Entries cannot be submitted outside this period.

4. Your entry

Your video must follow the technical and creative requirements of the challenge rules. You confirm that you created it, that it contains no existing characters, real people, brands, political content or unauthorized third-party material, and that you own or have permission to use every visual and audio element. You are responsible for your entry.

5. Moderation and bans

  • Every entry is reviewed by the team before any publication. We may reject an entry that does not follow the rules, the law or the spirit of the project; we may add a note but are not required to justify the decision.
  • If you break these terms, the rules or the law, we may remove your entries and ban you from one challenge or from all challenges.
  • We remove content reported to us as unlawful.

6. License you grant

You keep ownership of your work and remain free to use it elsewhere. By submitting, you grant The LoopHole Project a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, for the entire duration of the author's rights, to:

  • edit, cut, crop, reframe, resize, subtitle and combine your video with other entries;
  • include it in the Community Film, Random Pick compilations and the Top 100 selection;
  • publish it on this website, on YouTube, Instagram, X and other social networks, and use excerpts to promote the project;
  • present it at screenings and festivals.

We credit you with the profiles you chose to share, where the format allows it. You may ask us to stop using your entry in new publications at any time; films and compilations already published may remain online.

7. No payment, subjective selection

  • Participation is not paid and there is no prize, unless a challenge states otherwise.
  • Random Picks are drawn at random.
  • The Top 100 is a subjective editorial selection made by the team. It is final and does not replace the complete Community Film.
  • Supporting the project on Ko-fi is optional and has no influence on selection or visibility.

8. Personal data

How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.

9. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, The LoopHole Project is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the service, nor for the loss of a file you submitted: always keep your own copy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of this page. Changes do not apply retroactively to entries already submitted.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If you live in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. Before any legal action, please contact us at hello.loopholeproject@gmail.com so we can look for an amicable solution.
